What are polyurea coatings (Polyurea)?
Polyurea is a two-component material featuring fast application, seamless coating and high durability. It has excellent adhesion to almost all materials and is the best solution for both new and renovation of old sites. The chemical process is based on a reaction between high quality isocyanate polymers with a mixture of reactive amine resins.
It is used for the construction of protective coatings – waterproofing, anticorrosion, wear resistance and chemical resistance.
It is applied on concrete, metal, wood, etc.

Most often polyurea is applied in the form of spraying with specialized machines with which Monek Bulgaria AD has. This allows it to be laid quickly. The reaction time between the components is within a few seconds, during which time the material polymerizes and cures. Depending on the polyurea used, after about two hours the isolated object can be put into operation.

The machine is fully complete, mobile, has 94 metres of hose and can be used at the customer’s site for coating. Polyurea after mixing cures in 6-9 seconds and is virtually impossible to lay without a specialised machine. The better the machine for polishing, the better the quality of the coating.
