On July 19, 2025, Monek Bulgaria AD had the pleasure of hosting the initiative “Manager for a Day – See Your Future”, organized by the Kardzhali Youth Center with the participation of students from the “Petko Rachov Slaveykov” Secondary School – Kardzhali. The event is part of a project with contract No. BG-RRP-1.008-0001-C01 “Construction of a Youth Center in the City of Kardzhali”, financed through the EU Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.
Real Business. Real Experience.
The initiative provides high school students with a full-day opportunity to step into the role of a business leader, gaining first-hand experience in the day-to-day operations of a local company. The day concludes with the students reflecting on what they’ve learned and sharing their impressions publicly, followed by the awarding of certificates of participation.
Future Talents at Monek Bulgaria
We were honored to welcome 11 bright students to our facility in Kardzhali, each of them eager to learn more about management and innovation:
From KPIs to Vanadium Flow Batteries
The pupilis were introduced to the inner workings of an industrial company: they explored operational processes, quality control, logistics, and data-driven decision-making. One of the highlights of the day was their tour of our innovative Vanadium Redox Flow Battery system, currently being installed as part of our sustainability upgrades.
The participants also gained insights into how key performance indicators (KPIs) are tracked and how modern technology plays a critical role in driving efficiency and innovation at Monek.
Committed to the Next Generation
By opening our doors to young people, Monek Bulgaria reaffirms its strong commitment to social responsibility, education, and local community development.
