
The vertical pumps of ПРВ type with performance of 60 to 1400m3/hr and pressure of 5 to 20 MWC are designed to transport products for floatation of ores, non-metallic minerals, sand, and other hydraulic mixtures.
The pumps of this type are single-stage submerged pumps with vertical shaft layout and rubber-coated operating components, providing for sufficient operating time.
The pumps can be placed in a pan or concrete sump. When the pump is set in a pan, no substructure is necessary.
The designation of the pump shows the nominal valuesof performance and pressure.
- Example of a pump designation:
- 1250 – performance in m3/hr
- 12.5 – pressure in MWC
The advantage of ПРВ pumps is that they have no packing gland and therefore no flushing water is required to be supplied. These pumps are indispensable when working with high-foaming hydraulic mixtures.
It is recommended to maintain a minimum level of the hydraulic mixture in the pan or sump during pump operation, which provides for continuous operation. The design of the pump allows for operation with air intake, but in this case the flow at the endpoint pulsates which can adversely affect the technological process.
The rubber impeller is open type and is attached to the shaft using a thread (in most cases with double-start right trapezoidal thread, left thread is used for pumps ПРВ 1250/12.5 and ПРВ 300/12.5 only).
The bearings are lubricated with consistent grease. When designing structures with submerged pumps, it is necessary to provide free space above the tank (sump) not less than the height of the pump.
The pumps can be supplied with or without pan, which is to be specified when ordering.
Depending on the conditions, the pumps can be supplied equipped with an electric motor of appropriate power and speed.
When ordering spare parts, it is necessary to specify the precise indication of the pump, the name of the spare part and its relevant catalog number.
